By downloading or using Heart-E ("the App"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The Service
Heart-E is a blood pressure and vitals tracking app that helps you log readings and monitor trends. The App is provided by Invotek AS ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Oslo, Norway.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Heart-E is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
- The App is designed as a logging and tracking tool only
- Color-coded categories are based on AHA guidelines but are for informational purposes only
- Do not use the App to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition
- Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions
- If you experience a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately
- We are not responsible for any health consequences from reliance on the App
3. Pricing
Heart-E is free to use. All features are available at no cost, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
4. HealthKit
Heart-E may optionally integrate with Apple HealthKit to read and write blood pressure and heart rate data. This integration is entirely opt-in and governed by Apple's HealthKit terms and privacy policies.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code in Heart-E is owned by Invotek AS and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oslo, Norway.
